Coming to this hotel was a great decision. The location is perfect - right in the heart of a charming, picturesque town with fantastic restaurants just steps away. The rooms are like apartments, providing extra space and even a balcony to enjoy. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind, going above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. And to top it all off, breakfast was included, adding even more value to our experience.
Nothing to improve - everything was perfect!

Old charm, wonderfully friendly and hospitable owners, and the apartment is positioned right in the old part of the city. Great to walk around in the evening and enjoy what is going on, and eating out. What a beautiful part of Italy. We loved it.

Great location, although it's not a traditional hotel with a front desk, clear instructions were sent on how to contact the proprietors. They provided everything we needed and more. We neglected to read the fine print that they only took cash, but they were very gracious to let us grab cash from an atm when we could. They were very trusting and kind and concerned with their guests comfort. Wish we could've stayed longer than one night.

My recent stay at this hotel was fantastic for so many reasons. the value for money was excellent. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the high standards of the accommodations. Secondly, the location was perfect. Situated right in the heart of the old town, it was close to all the fantastic restaurants, shops, and cafes. Lastly, the staff were simply wonderful. They provided exceptional service, making me feel like a friend rather than just a guest. Additionally, the rooms with a balcony provided me with additional space to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
All was perfect, nothing to complain about!

Friendly owners
Small size of the studio (20 qm), small "double bed" appropriate only for one person (but it is very comfortable then). I used the sofa which is not suitable for a recreative sleep. There is no wardrobe to put the personal things and clothes inside. Essentially, the studio is good enough only for one person, not for two.

What was there to dislike about Residence Briona. The owners welcome was excellant after a long journey. The studion room we had provided us with wter, cakes, jams and biscuits at no extra cost. The roomwasdecorated within the style of the region and very well done. Great location for town and exploring the surrounding area. Car parking very secure.

A lovely apartment in the middle of the town - conveniently located and prettily decorated. Well equipped with really friendly owners who are happy to help with restaurant recommendations, advice etc
I think it would have been nice if they supplied milk and coffee.

A large, comfortable apartment for a family with kids. Kitchen is well equipped for families with small children that can not eat out for dinner. Close to the old town center and convenient for traveling to Locarno, Stresa, Milan etc. When checking in, need to call the reception, who will kindly explain about how to spend your time there.

First of all, this hotel is located in the old town area, which adds to its charm and authenticity. Being in the heart of the city, it is just a short walk away from all the fantastic restaurants and local attractions. The fact that it is situated in a pedestrian zone also ensures a peaceful and quiet atmosphere for a good night's sleep. Additionally, the hotel offers rooms with a balcony, which provides additional space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
No noticeable negatives were mentioned in the reviews.

Very friendly & helpful innkeeper. Full cooking facilities was a pleasant surprise, with excellent Italian prepared meals that just require warming directly across the street. Just at the edge of the Central Historic, pedestrian only, downtown area.
Clearly designated not, but I wish they had wifi.

Stayed with three people, but easily large enough for 4 or 5. Comfortable living room, very well equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes, water boiler, dishwasher etc. Generous offering of tea, coffee and small pastries even though breakfast was not included. In pretty, old building with court yard, little balcony to backyard. 10 minute walk from train station in the pedestrian precinct near many stores and restaurants. Perfect for day trips to Milano and into the mountains. Very welcoming owner picked us up at train station and came within ten minutes when there was a blackout.
